Dr. Henderson is the Director of Eastern Operations at PSI.
Dr. Henderson has a Bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
She is a professional engineer who has extensive experience in pavement and materials engineering. She has provided design, construction, project specification and asset management consulting to municipal, provincial and privates owners for over 10 years. She has been the Project Manager on a variety of projects throughout Canada, working with road, airport, rail and port authorities. She has worked on successful design-build teams in Ontario and Manitoba. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo and a Sessional Lecturer at McMaster University in Pavement and Materials Engineering and Infrastructure Management.
Dr. Henderson has worked with road authorities and owners for over 12 years, applying pavement design methods (AASHTO 93, MEPDG), construction techniques and management systems. She works with owners and contractors, providing pavement and materials engineering consulting, throughout North America. Her experience in lab testing and non destructive data collection and analysis allows her to help clients understand the condition of their assets and make educated decisions for the future.
