Chris McCaig

Mr. McCaig is a Superintendent for PSI.   

He has worked for PSI for over nine years supervising custom equipment design and fabrication.  In addition, he is responsible for managing crushing operations. 

Mr. McCaig’s has a vast amount of field experience and knowledge which allows him to address potential trouble points during the equipment design and specification phase.  This, combined with his ability to assemble drawings in AutoCAD and Solidworks, provides him the unique ability to take initial ideas and turn them into a finished product.  

Transportation Infrastructure
Mr. McCaig has extensive knowledge fabricating, installing and operating crushing operations, as well as supervising road construction crews.  He also leads the equipment design and operation of road asset management field data collection.

Mine Infrastructure
Mr. McCaig is responsible for designing, fabricating, and commissioning PSI’s specialized heavy equipment, mining equipment, and crushing attachments.  He has experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, motor control centers, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.  He has designed, built, and commissioned backfill plants for several PSI mining projects.
